Hand Crank Attachment for Osborn Splitter

The Hand Crank Splitter Attachment (Jack’s Pat), developed by Jack Mease of Lander WY, quickly and easily improves user ability to split/level rawhide/leather to final desired thickness in one pass.  The attachment is precision machined here in Idaho to fit the Osborne Model 86, 6 inch Splitter.

Price for the “Attachment”, includes setup and testing here in our shop.   We ask you to send your splitter to us for installing the Attachment.   Testing will be done here so it is ready to work when you receive it.  We will sharpen your slitter blade using a “Roll-n-Sharp” fixture as the first step in our install process.  If you do not already have one of these fixtures, you may consider adding one to your order.  If we recieve a combined Attachment & Roll-n-Sharp order we will be sure to include the fixture set to match your splitter blade.  Please ask any questions you have so we may better assist you.
